Bataan 3rd District’s “Lupon” receives financial aid

Residents of 46 barangays in Dinalupihan on Friday, received a payout of 3,000 pesos each as part of a program spearheaded by Bataan 3rd District Representative Maria Angela Garcia.

The payout distribution, held at the Dinalupihan Civic Center, is intended for *Lupon Tagapamayapa”, a group of barangay officials tasked with resolving local disputes and conflicts.

The program was fully supported by Bataan Governor Joet Garcia, Bataan Second District Congressman Abet Garcia, Bataan First District Congresswoman Geraldine Roman, Vice Governor Cris Garcia, and Pusong Pinoy Partylist Rep. Jett Nisay.

The payout was witnessed by Dinalupihan Mayor German Santos, Board Member Harold Espeleta, Bataan Third District Chief of Staff, Rolly Rojas and other local officials.

“The program aims to recognize the efforts of the Lupon Tagapamayapa in settling disputes and conflicts within their respective communities. These officials act as mediators and work towards peaceful resolution of issues and conflicts between individuals, families, or groups,” Congresswoman Gila Garcia said in a phone interview with the local press.

Representative Garcia also expressed her gratitude towards the barangay officials for their service, stating that “the Lupon Tagapamayapa plays an important role in promoting peace and order in our communities. We are grateful for their dedication to their duty and commitment to fostering harmony in our barangays.”

Governor Joet Garcia also commended the efforts of the Lupon Tagapamayapa, adding that “this program is a testament to our commitment to recognizing and supporting the invaluable contributions of our barangay officials. We hope that this payout will serve as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.”

The payout benefitted a total of 502 beneficiaries from Dinalupihan, as well as 251 beneficiaries from Mariveles, 145 from Bagac, and 79 from Morong.

The program is part of ongoing efforts to support and recognize the efforts of barangay officials in promoting peace and order in local communities.
